Lucretia A. Cavan is the founder of Cavan Executive Search, a boutique firm providing fundraising, consulting and executive recruitment services to non-profit organizations on a national and international level. 
Lucretia has over 23 years of management, fundraising and executive search experience in the non-profit sector, having held leadership positions at Brown University, Columbia University and The New School, where she worked directly with their respective presidents and trustees on high level fundraising and strategic planning for billion dollar campaigns. Lucretia also served as Vice President for Development at Continuum Health Partners, a consortium of five major hospitals within New York City.
Lucretia has been a guest lecturer at The New School’s Non-Profit Management Masters Program, and has frequently lectured in the areas of major gift fundraising and board management. She has recently been invited to serve on the Board of Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Foundation.Lucretia is a graduate of Virginia Tech University, where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration. She is also an elite Ironman triathlete, cyclist and marathon runner.   Lucretia may be contacted at lcavan@cavansearch.com.


Gail L. Freeman is Founder and President of Freeman Philanthropic Services, LLC (FPS), a national leader in executive recruitment for the not-for-profit sector, specializing in recruiting leaders for higher education institutions, hospitals, academic medical centers, social service, cultural, performing arts, and advocacy organizations.
As a recognized leader in the sector, Ms. Freeman brings more than twenty-five years of experience as a not-for-profit executive, development professional, executive recruiter, and consultant. Her broad experience and multi-faceted knowledge base bring a complete perspective to FPS’ numerous clients, including: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Tufts University, American Red Cross National Headquarters, Harlem Children’s Zone, National Council of La Raza, Massachusetts General Hospital, Yale University, and Americans for UNFPA.  Gail may be contacted at gail@glfreeman.com.


Donna Rich
is a frequent speaker at professional workshops and conferences on development office staffing and careers in fund raising. For eight years she taught the class, Careers in Fund Raising, in AFP’s survey course on The Fundamentals of Fund Raising. She recently co-taught the AFP seminar, Advancing Your Development Career: Tips for Success, sponsored by the Foundation Center.    
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Women in Development, New York, where she has co-chaired its Luncheon Programs Committee for the past four years. Her BA was magna cum laude from the University of Rhode Island, and she holds a Master's degree in social work from Hunter College.
